Biddeford Free Clinic
The Biddeford Free Clinic provides accessible and free
outpatient general medical care and non-narcotic medication to
adults and children who have no medical insurance and cannot afford
private medical care. With only part-time staff and all volunteer
doctors and pharmacists, the Clinic does remarkable work with
personal and professional service for their clients.
Boston Public Schools
Our team worked with a middle school teacher in the special
education program. He opens doors for students who might otherwise

Concepts for Adaptive Learning
Concepts for Adaptive Learning (CfAL) serves urban communities by
giving educational technology services to families and schools.
CfAL's goal is to improve the academic achievement of students in
public schools. Since 2001, 630 families have participated in the

Greater New Haven Literacy Coalition
The Greater New Haven Literacy Coalition is a nonprofit
organization whose mission is to serve as a clearinghouse to
promote, support and advance literacy for people of all ages in the
New Haven, CT region.
Literacy Volunteers of Greater Sanford
Literacy
Volunteers of Greater Sanford's purpose is to support the
literacy needs of adults (especially those reading below the ninth
reading level) with free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring and
small group instruction by trained adult volunteers.
New Haven Family Alliance
The mission of the New Haven Family Alliance (NHFA) is to improve
the quality of life for all families in New Haven. NHFA empowers
families to become self-reliant by providing a comprehensive
service delivery system, and provides services and resources to
foster the development fo healthy families. Above all, NHFA
believes that families need to be respected and supported at all
stages of their development.
Saco Bay Time Bank
This organization folded in October of 2007. In its brief but
exciting life, the Saco Bay Time Bank's mission was to work toward
a fair distribution of community resources and strengthen the
informal support systems of family, neighborhood, and community.
York County Community College (Grants Coordinator)
(Heather Denkmire was the Grants Coordinator for YCCC. YCCC was
not a client of grantwinners.net.) Established in 1994,
YCCC is the seventh and newest college in Maine's Community College
System. Their mission is to foster lifelong learning opportunities
by offering quality career and academic programs and to serve as a
highly valued resource for training and economic development in
York County and the State of Maine.
